Hello music lovers,

The tradition continues, Bow Thayer and Perfect Trainwreck will be rocking in the New Year at the Clear River Tavern in Pittsfield, VT. The Clear River house band will be playing an early set until 10 and Perfect Trainwreck will be rolling by 11 and will not stop until we are well into 2010! For more info or to book a room in the Inn call 802-746-8999. The Clear is our favorite Tavern and home of our first gig, it is located on the VAST trail system so it is accessible by snowmobile.

Also we want to inform you all that Perfect Trainwreck will be playing a show at the Chandler Music Hall in Randolph, Vt on January 30th. All the proceeds to this event will go into the renovations this wonderful theater needs. The Chandler is a century old theater and a great place to see a show and so the band is taking this opportunity to put on a doozy. Opening the show will be a set by Jimmy Ryan and Tim Gearan. Jimmy is a masterful mandolin player and songwriter and longtime friend of Perfect Trainwreck. He's got roots in the Burlington area and was the founder of the acclaimed Blood Oranges and has played in countless acts in and around Boston. Tim Gearan is equally amazing, his songwriting sensibilities are world class and his voice is as powerful and honest as you can get. If you missed him at the Tweed River festival this past summer this is your chance to catch him with Jimmy in this rare duo performance.

There will also be special guests sitting in with the Perfect Trainwreck as well as new songs, we really want to urge folks to buy tix in advance as we want to see this local, historic, theater become a favorite room for us and a draw for international acts. We are very lucky to have such a unique hall in central Vt and feel it very important to bring it to it's full potential to present many culturally rich performances in the future.
